Throwing-up all over Chattablogs...

What does everyone thing about limiting the number of posts from a single blog that are allowed to show up in the blog roll in one day? I'm kidding of course. It's just that I was taught good things come in moderation.

Whether it's pizza, bratwurst or doughnuts, when you have too much of them the results are the same. Throw-up everywhere.

This talk about moderation reminds me of Margaret's Cho's mother.

The kids over in Outrage, Hope and Action definitely need to chill out. 24 posts (so far) today, after 11 yesterday. IMHO, it's way too much for one day -- from an RSS and from a strategic standpoint. People reach a point of saturation, and beyond that, even your best fans are not going to keep reading. It's much better to spread it throughout the week, so that you have a few posts a day -- and far better than a bi-polar pattern of sudden bursts of frenzied posting followed by long periods of silence.

But, that's just me. YMMV ;-)

Yeah, I agree about your 'over saturating' point. A post a day is probably ideal, maybe more if multiple posts are short and quirky.
